Van Rental Questions
Q. What will I need to pick up the van?
A. You will need your booking reference number (this will be provided when you reserve your van on this site), a standard valid driver's licence and a credit card.
Q. How does the insurance work?
A. All compulsory insurances are provided by Irish Van Rentals where certain terms apply. An excess will apply - as is common with most van rental companies.
Q. I want to get a sat nav. How do I go about this?
A. You can pre-book a Garmin GPS sat nav for €10 per day (pending availability). This great little unit is very intuitive and easy to follow. If you miss a turn, the Garmin will re-route you in seconds!
Q. How will barrier-free tolling affect me if I use the M50 Motorway?
A. If you use the cross the M50 toll bridge in a rental van, there will no longer be a barrier and you can't pay the toll using cash. You have until 8pm the next day to pay the toll. A camera will record the rental van registration number.
Light goods vehicles cost €3.80. Further charges will be incurred if toll is not paid on time.
